Privacy policy

What we do with your personal data, in plain language. Short because we do not collect much.

What we collect

When you fill in the quote or contact form, we collect your name, email, phone, postcode, and any details you choose to write in the message. We use this only to reply to your enquiry.

How we store it

Form submissions arrive at our company email (surmajoinery@gmail.com). We keep enquiries for as long as we are actively responding, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us. You can ask us to delete your details at any time and we will.

Email transmission

The forms send mail via Resend, a transactional email provider. Their privacy policy applies to the transmission step. We do not use Resend or any other party for marketing.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, which is privacy-friendly and cookieless. It tells us how many people visit which pages, where they came from, and what device they used. It does not identify individual visitors.

Cookies

The site sets no tracking cookies. Because Plausible is cookieless, we do not need a cookie banner. We may set a single functional cookie if a future feature requires it; if so, this policy will say what and why.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask what data we hold on you, ask for corrections, and ask us to delete it. Email surmajoinery@gmail.com.
