Lanarkshire and the rest of central Scotland.

We live in Motherwell. The van is parked here, the workshop is here, our kids go to school here. Anything that happens in ML1 we can usually be at within twenty minutes of a phone call.

Bellshill is ten minutes from our front door, which means small jobs are realistic to book on short notice. Repair work, replacement doors, a single fitted wardrobe — we can often slot these onto an existing visit to your street.

Hamilton is one of our most regular patches — the housing mix is wide, the streets are easy to park in, and a lot of our work comes word-of-mouth from one Hamilton street to the next.

Plenty of Wishaw streets are lined with traditional terraced houses, and they all eventually need the same things — kitchens that work for how people actually live, fitted wardrobes that stop bedrooms feeling cramped, hallways that look properly finished.

Bothwell has a higher proportion of detailed, character-rich houses than most of our patch — sandstone villas, cornicing, fireplaces worth keeping. Our work here is more often about matching what is there than starting from scratch.

Larkhall has a mix of older stone-built terraces and newer estate housing — the kind of town where word-of-mouth still matters more than online reviews, and where a tradesman who turns up when they said they would is half the battle.

Uddingston sits on the commute line into Glasgow, and a lot of the housing stock is owner-occupied family homes where small renovations and storage projects are the most common kind of work.

Coatbridge keeps a lot of its older sandstone tenement and terrace housing, and that stock often hides good bones beneath dated decor — exactly the houses that benefit most from a careful renovation rather than a strip-out.

We have done several Airdrie projects over the last couple of years — bespoke storage, feature wall cladding, alcove cupboards. The mixed housing stock means there is no "one kind of Airdrie job", and our work shows it.

East Kilbride is Scotland's biggest new town — most of its housing is from the 1960s onwards, with very different proportions and detailing from the older Lanarkshire towns nearby. The jobs that suit it best are the ones that work with those proportions rather than against them.

Glasgow is half an hour up the M74 and a regular run for us. A lot of the city work is in tenements and flats: dividing big rooms, building partition walls, fitting storage into odd corners, and bringing original joinery back to a decent standard.

Stirling is further than our usual Lanarkshire patch, but we are up the M80 often enough that it does not feel like a stretch. Three of the projects on this site are Stirling jobs — floors, wardrobes and a door-frame repair — so you can see the standard before you call.

Edinburgh is the far end of our range, but it is where some of our more involved jobs have been: a fire-damaged wall frame taken out and a steel beam put in, and a full box-skirting and wall-cladding fit-out. Bigger projects justify the drive.
